The house

We started looking for a house at the beginning of the year... It was so hard to find the right house, in the right neighborhood, at the right price. But it happened. The week before Chandler started school (we were getting a little stressed!) the perfect house came along. We decided to find a house through the auction. This was difficult because you literally would hear about a house the night before and you had to bid on it the next day and purchase "as is". So scary! We figured it was near impossible, but we still had a friend telling us the houses at each auction just in case. Well, we saw this house and bought it that same day!! We have never had any regrets. It was in my favorite neighborhood, at a great price! We did a few cosmetic changes that have made me even more in love with the house!

We painted the walls, redid the floors, added new base boards, and repainted the cabinets & banister. I am so pleased with how it all turned out.
