I'm so glad I chose to go into nursing. It is such a fulfilling and satisfying job. I cant imagine doing anything else. It's hard for me to comprehend all the things I am going to experience over the next year, I'll just take it as it comes.
I worked sunday which was new for me. This is definitely a Utah thing, but they actually pass the sacrament around the hospital. I got to take the sacrament with my patient. It was a neat experience. I think it was a missionary couple and the wife shared a quote:"If we will...walk hand in hand with Him in His paths, we will go forward with faith and never feel alone." Elder Craig Zwick. It was a special feeling to stand in a room with someone very sick and share a sacred moment. I felt the spirit very strong. I knew I was where I should be.
So I just wanted to say I survived my first week and I'm excited for whats to come.
This was at the end of 3 12hr shifts in a row....dont judge me
Somewhere in the weekend of working 48hrs I had a birthday! I mainly just wanted to sleep but I also got pampered with Laura and ate yummy food with Chandler.
Olive Garden the night before my Birthday with friends and family. forgot to take a group pic :(
Randomly, I was craving seafood and Red Lobster is all we have in Provo... I enjoyed yummy crab legs on my birthday!

Wow, congrats on surviving your first week! I remember being so scared when I got hired for this teaching job. I knew it would be so hard and that people were expecting me to be in charge of 130 teenagers. Scary! But you are right - it's good to do hard things. Way to go!
OK.. I have a few things to comment on...
1. The most important- Happy Birthday! Brady and I texted you and then I remembered you didn't have your phone. I hope you had a great day and I want to get together soon! Brady is talking to Chandler right now and I told them I wanted to hang out next weekend... if your not too busy with your new job.
2. I am so glad your new job is going well! I knew you would be great at it!
3. That was a very sweet note that Chandler left you on the refrigerator... our men our lucky they have us to bring home the bacon! (I guess I can't brag anymore)
anyways... we can maybe come to provo for our next date! let's plan it soon! later girly
